In another exciting episode of What I've Learned From Film, we tackle Miami Connection, a recently re-released martial arts movie that has a ridiculous story behind it all. We discuss the audience for these types of throwback films, rediscovered films in general, and taekwondo masters who make their own movies.
Joining me in this action-packed extravaganza is Josh Beekman (http://joshhwwaaaaaa.blogspot.com)

What I've Learned From Film - Ep. 26 - Skyfall
In a brand new episode of What I've Learned From Film, James Bond's latest foray into the cinematic world, Skyfall is beaten, prodded, and evaluated. But it is deemed fit for 007 status? How does it fit into the rest of the James Bond filmography? Does it live up to the hype? Do James and M finally get married?
Joining me this episode is special guest Josh Beekman (http://joshhwwaaaaaa.blogspot.com/).

What I've Learned From Film - Ep. 25 - Samsara
For the very special 25th episode of What I've Learned From Film, we discuss the new visual feast that is called Samsara, a beautiful film that is dialogue-free and tells a story only through what we see. Joining me in our FIRST episode about a documentary is none other than (yup, you guessed it!) Josh Beekman.

What I've Learned From Film - Ep. 23 - The Bourne Legacy
In the latest episode of What I've Learned From Film, we crash through windows and man handle The Bourne Legacy, co-written and directed by Tony Gilroy, starring Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz. Does it continue the Bourne franchise in a respectable manner or should this film have never been...BOURNE??!! (rimshot...silence...regret).
I am joined by Blackbriar agents Darele Ray, Josh Beekman, and Leo Cortes. This mission, should you choose to accept it, will...er...wait, wrong movie.

What I've Learned From Film - Ep. 22 - The Dark Knight Rises
Holy smokes, Bat readers! The third (and final?) Batman movie in Christopher Nolan's trilogy has finally arrived in theaters everywhere and we were obligated to give this film not the podcast it needs, but the one it DESERVES. The Dark Knight Rises (starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman) had a lot to live up to after the gargantuan success of The Dark Knight. So is it the epic climax that everyone wished it to be? Or is it riddled with plot holes that renders it a giant mess?
Joining me in my fight against Bane are special guests Darele Ray and Josh Beekman.

In this week's episode of What I've Learned From Film, we tackle the new Sony reboot of The Amazing Spiderman, directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Dennis Leary. Special guest Josh Beekman joins me as we discuss the merits of a so-soon reboot, motivations of a teenage super hero, and just exactly how a one-armed scientist carries lab equipment to the bottom of the sewer with no one noticing.
